Welcome to GHV!
I started collecting and dealing in 1940's & 1950's clothing when I was 17 (14 years ago!) and have been fanatical about it ever since.
My first foray into vintage trading as a profession came between 2005-2008, when I ran a small boutique named 'Ooh La La Vintage' in my home county of Berkshire.
I also created Ooh La La Swap & Sell Shop on Facebook, one of the largest vintage trading groups in the world.
Greyhound Vintage became an official venture in its own right in 2011.
As a company, we specialise in sourcing and selling the finest mid-century vintage clothing, for women and men, from the 1940's, 1950's & 1960's. You can find our garments for sale on Facebook and Twitter but also in our Camden boutique, which opens its doors at the end of October 2013.
This blog has been created to showcase the picks of our stock, show you a few of our favourite things and share the experiences of a day-in-the-life of a vintage obsessive.
Apart from vintage clothing, I like dogs (especially greyhounds) chocolate, sushi, dancing, rockabilly weekenders, music and movies.
I live in North London with my long-suffering boyfriend Greg, my three greyhounds, Amy, Ebie and Gilbert and a LOT of vintage clothing.
